About a girl

by lee   Jul 19, 2005

She had so much to live for
now shes beautifully worthless
watching each day go by
with her own selfish little purpose
she used to be so innocent
she used to be so pure
but now theres something wrong with her
and she hasnt found a cure
so many people have touched her
but in the end no-one was there
maybe its no wonder
why she thinks nobody cares
she worries way too much
about things that never come
shes looking for her way back
shes searching for someone
everyone she gets close to
ends up treating her like shit
and I just cant help but wonder
why she puts up with it
shes way too young to be like that
to be in so much pain
but pain is what shes living on
like the blood running through her veins.
