Precious trees

by Mark   Jul 19, 2005

It's small gentle wings
Sway from side to side
With such beauty
I should never hide

It's ever lasting color
Is there for all to observe
Its stands peaceful
Not wanting to be disturbed

The guardians of the forest
Are soft, yet hard
Slowly being destroyed
And made into card

They take what we don't need
Give us what we do
They provide the very existence
Of me and yes, you

So do something now
Stop them going like the tide
So do something now
Stop this suicide
