One day

Why do i try so hard?
When my efforts are in vain
Why do i bother?
When all i feel is pain

Is it worth trying?
If your always going to fail
When your almost there
Someone pulls back on your tail

It's like climbing a mountain
Getting near the top
Your expecting success
But then you flop
You've run out of gas
Thats as far as you can go
Failing once you've got so far
Is a feeling you wish you didn't know

Maybe one day I'll try
And i will keep the faith
I will succeed with what i want to do
And feel no pain, and be safe
