Without your DAD (someday i will explain)

by tiffany   Jul 19, 2005

I know someday you will want to know
I'm scared of what I will have to tell you though
The tears in my eyes are starting to grow
All the pain and heartache it’s a never ending flow

Baby your Dad chose the wrong path in life
I had to be mature and leave his harmful ways
His ways only led to pain and grief
Your dad had an addiction, that’s where he spent his days

The best thing for you was to have a single mom
Don’t worry sweetie my love for you is enough for two
You hold my heart in your palm
I just hope you know exactly how much I love you!

I can’t say I understand how it feels
I just wish I could take all the hurt from you
As for a father figure I know with that I can’t deal
So Popo and Uncle BoBo will always be there to guide you through

I don’t want you to hate your dad
Sweetie he is the one who has missed out
His cold heart doesn’t care to see that he makes you sad
I just need you to know with me you should never doubt
You are my world, my flesh and blood
My first-born, and the love of my life
So beautifully perfect mommy’s little girl
So sweet your smile
Your brown hair with a million curls
You are what makes my whole life worthwhile
I love you my beautiful brown-eyed girl!

*sniffle* Such a beautigul dedication from a mother to a daughter!!! I think it's always the father that misses out so with that you are right!! Someday she'll realize she made it without him and with the help of her loving mother! Terrific job..five from me!
