You may never understand

by IWroteYouAPoemOnMyWrist   Jul 19, 2005

A sense of wonder
a speak of laughter
i sit here hungered
as pain grows faster

a silent scream
and unseen tears
fighting for dreams
and i look into this broken mirror

a shaking hand
touches the gentle glass
i don't understand
why the memories wont pass

my throbbing heart
wrist all numb
and torn apart
from coming undone

a simple question
can tell someone everything
all the confessions
are left unseen

the picture is still
but hard to read
your mind would be set and filled
on the face of me

a quivering body
eyes wide open
now can you see the somebody
that only you have broken?

and you can see perfectly
beneath these dead open eyes
i lived depressing
its easily for someone like me to die

since you can't do this for me
i can not live
and you may never be able to understand or see
how or what i just did

_this came from my heart.. please if you would vote and comment i worked so hard!!_ thanks if you took time to read-
