Strangling me,
Overwhelming me in thoughts,
That are almost unreal,
Pull me back,
To the safety of your arms,
Where even the darkest of creatures,
Appear to be tame,
But then I slip,
And I’m lost again,
To fight the tide of thoughts,
From pushing me so far down,
I can no longer think,
Too lost to be found,
Just a corpse floating to the surface,
Of the cold ocean water.
