Roses are red,
violets are blue;

I was in love,
but not with you;

I bet you thought all I did was cry,

Weeks went buy, not thinking of you,
months went by, found someone new;

Two years went by, was doing just fine,
when my man asked to be forever mine;

Now it is my wedding day,
I thought everything was going my way;

I was getting ready to say "I do",
