Be strong

by SammiBABY   Jul 20, 2005

I felt myself slipping
Falling into a sudden death,
The pain heavy on my mind,
I took my one last breath.

I grasped the scissors in my hand,
I was ready to cut my skin,
But I looked at my door,
Saw your face saying “don’t give in.”

So out of power, in deep shock,
I saw so much pain,
But looking at you I realized,
In death there was nothing to gain.

I saw your face, heard your words,
The scissors fell to the ground,
You saved my life at your last chance,
My fate of plain skin was found.

I saw the truth, that in you,
I find to strength to move on,
Because with you around I can’t be sad,
I have no choice than to be strong.
