REJECTED AND ABANDONED

Rejected and abandoned, she took it hard,
Hurt and confused now her heart permanently scared
Building a wall impossible to crumble,
So determined in her mind to never stumble.

Devastated and eternally damaged,
Dreams thrown out the window her life too hard to manage.
The past affecting her every move in life,
Countless mistakes, preventing her to do the right.

Alone at night, thoughts racing through,
Wanting to give up on everything, Letting misery consume
A shattered heart now to complicated to heal,
Tormented by what happened, the pain she's forced to feel.

ABOUT MY ADOPTION AND MY MOM NOT WANTING ME, IT STILL AFFECTS ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS ADOPTED AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. PLEASE COMMENT AND RATE, IT'D MEAN A LOT TO ME. THANK YOU - JULIA

    Wonderful poem. I really like this line :

    "Building a wall impossible to crumble,
    So determined in her mind to never stumble."

    It kinda describes the fact that no matter how many people have given up on you and abandoned you, your going to prove them wrong and show them that you can make it. And thats a good quality to have. Great job.

    hey i dont know what it is liek but my step dad is adopted. but if you liek to talk to some one i a m here for you i also have a friend who was it's hard on her too.. hugs to you and hope everything gets better 5/5
