Why can't we turn back time,
Way before I made this silly little rhyme
To before we fought,
To when it was each other we sought
To a time when we loved each other
When our feelings we shared between one another
To when we would stay up all night
Talking on the phone until the morning light
To a time when we went out
and when we loved each other with out a doubt
To when we were both happy and never sad
To when we'd never make each other mad
But most importantly
I want to turn back time to when you loved me!
