Afraid Of LoVe

by Chelsea   Jul 20, 2005

Afraid of Love
Are you afraid? To die for love?
And see the light, as bright as a dove?
People crying because you’re gone,
Balling their eyes out until dawn?

The word gets out, that it was planned,
Who will be there to hold your loved ones hand?
Or will they not care and just move on?
Even when they see your skin, where the plans were drawn.

Rope, carving knifes, a little time alone, and everything is all right,
With these things, my story I will write,
And tell how easy it is to change your life,
With just that one knife.

You drew that tree, in the back of your yard,
The next part was really hard,
You drew yourself, hanging from the twig,
And the puddle below you, which was ever so big.

And next to the blood you leave a note,
And this is what you wrote,
I died for love, remember that, no one made me do this,
My love lives on, even though I don’t exist.

Rope, carving knifes, a little time alone, and everything is all right,
With these things, my story I will write,
And tell how easy it is to change your life,
With just that one knife.
