Sits and Wonders

by Gale   Jul 21, 2005

As she silently sits and wonders about her life,
What the future might have been
if her wrist hadn't met the knife.

Would she'd of had children, a big house, husband or money gaoler?
As she sits and wonders her tears mix with blood on the floor.

Would people feel different about her?Would they think that she'd given up the fight?
Would she be a disgrace to her father? Would her mom take the news alright?

As she silently sits she wishes, she could make this slit go away.....
Just like all the others, they were just innocent play.

So she crawls to hall......she leans on the wall,And she silently sits and dies.
People gathered in awe because they for-saw "this girls" rapid decline.

The news interviewed her school, and the kids that were cruel,
made up stories to look good on the TV.

They said that they tried to help
and if they'd known how she felt,
They'd given her the help that she was needing.

When the parties are over for the night,
and their done with the causal sex,
They'll sit alone in their rooms....
where the silence consumes,
And they'll silently sit and wonder.
