12:00pm

by Mark Esteban   Jul 21, 2005

Clock ticking amidst midnight
The sound of tiny crickets echoing
Everything in sheer silence
Resting in cold shivers
Fireflies’ ablazing their tail ends
Flying around demented blackout
Swaying illuminance like daffodils
In a garden at peace
The heavens close its eyes
Breathing soft dew drops
The stars dancing in manic twilight
Mockering the radiant moonlight
Sanity escapes its temple
And thy dreams start to call
The coming of the nightfall
