I Fear

by William Flores   Jul 21, 2005

I fear a thousand fears
I fear while shedding tears
I fear the day will come
When I give in to these fears

I fear the pain of falling
I hear my pain is calling
I listen to the melody
Of a tired soul falling

I fear the darkness in me
I feel a change within me
I look into my soul
And see the storm within me

I fear my shedding tears
I want to stop these tears
But the day will come
When you wipe away my tears

I fear so many fears
I fear the flames of tears
But when I feel you
No longer are these fears

I fear not these skies of grey
Nor the torrential rains
For you are my sunshine
You always brighten my day

I fear fear itself
As I look within myself
And know the day will come
My fears your arms will melt

I fear I fear I fear
So many are my fears
But when I feel your love
All my fears are cleared
