A Long Lost Wish

by CandyPants   Jul 21, 2005

I long for a life,
With which I can Live.
Live in love and not in hate.
My heart is troubled,
And I cannot heal it.
My hate is growing,
And I cannot stop it.
There is so much grief,
And there is so much wishing.
Wishes for a life of norm.
Wishes for a life of happiness.

When I began to see,
Who they really are,
I often wish for the innocence
Of not knowing at all.
When I see the people
With such better lives,
I have to ask God,
Why he chose mine.
Why mine is so twisted,
Why mine is so sad.
And Why my parents
Chose to be bad.

They made some decisions,
That has effected us all.
Dad is always drinking,
And mom is never thinking.
But now we cant go back,
And fix what has happened.
The past is the past,
And I can see that.
