This Time Around

by Cathy Allerite   Jul 21, 2005

In a world where I find no complacence,

Everything seems to be a lie.

I wanted to liberate myself,

From the people who love me true...

I may have gone a long long way

But I haven't found a friend

The one who really cares for me

To give unconditional love...

So blind to see, that was "I"

Who loved to make alibis.

But then your heart was still and pure

Willing to change the fake and wicked me.

Now I realized you were here

From the very, very start...

I've betrayed you, neglected you, insulted you

But you still loved me and held me back...

"Sorry" is all I can say for now,

Coz I have nothing left in me.

I only hope I can make it up to you

Coz this time around I care too.
