Fell straight in love with you

by Emily Barclay   Jul 21, 2005

Why can't you love me,
Why can't you see,
Just what your chasing game,
Is really doing to me,

I'm sick of playing about,
I'm sick of messing around,
I'm sick of stacking them up so high,
Just to smack them to the ground,

I see what your playing at,
And I admit it caught my eye,
Being the biggest chase in the world,
But now you got me and my only questions why,

Why keep messing me about,
Why keep breaking my heart,
You've ripped it out and stomped on it,
And torn it all apart,

I love you babe to pieces,
And I accept you don't want me two,
But god is this my payback,
Am I just something for him to do,

I've played your game enough,
I've mastered it already,
You line them up wind them down,
And ease them off steady,

Why can't you just love me,
And stop breaking my heart in two,
Because for some reason,
I can't get over you,

Your stuck in my head,
I can't escape your voice,
Trust me I would if I could,
You being there weren't my choice,

You kinda just appeared there,
But my heart still longs for the things you do,
What can I say a player slipped,
And fell straight in love with you.
