I wonder why the world is round,
Why the titanic oceans are vast,
but the pearl-scaled fish so few,
Perhaps they disappeared long ago in a derelict past.
I wonder why I look different to you,
I have always been this way,
In my pain there's nothing new,
The scars on me will stay.
I wonder why I'm so alone,
Even in a friendly crowd I resist,
Maybe there's noone who's truly known,
How it feels to be a cloud, dissolving in its own mist.
I wonder why the silver stained clouds can stay,
Even in their invisible lucid form,
Hurtling through the stars and sky,
and heavy heaving dark in a sad night storm,
I wonder why I am like that,
In a way you'll never know,
Just how it feels to be me,
And for your sake- I hope you never know
