Things You'll Never Know

I sit here thinking about you everyday
I see you only once a week
Only if I’m lucky
But I know you’d never cheat

You love your girlfriend so much
But people say she doesn’t love you
They said you look cute together
But they say we look cute together too

I don’t think you noticed that I’m in love
You don’t know how I feel
If I gave my heart time
I’m sure it would be able to heal

You’re always there when I need you
I just have to dial the phone
But when she’s there
You always speak in a different tone

I’m not sure if you like me
In the way that I love you
And I don’t want to find out
Just in case you don’t like me too

I have dreams of us being together
Held in each others arms
Falling asleep with one another
Out of the way of life’s harms

I know you wouldn’t leave her
For some one just like me
But I hope one day you’ll see how much I love you
And how strong our love could be

I know you’ll never see this poem
But I needed to let it out
I needed to show my feelings
And what they are all about.
