Old scores have been settled,
Freely as the river flows,
The torturing iron put down forever,
Strange how even a tiny smile shows.
My mind is at peace,
Knowing you are happy, safe and sound,
thorns know no sweetness,
That only the sweet scarlet rose has found.
I remember what happened then,
With you (and others) I used to fight,
You all said I was insane,
But you didn't know that you were right.
You told me I was strong,
But only with muscles tearing- trite but true,
Only one thing really made me scared
and that my dear was you.
You were my friend,
Without understanding the way of my head,
But you were strong and controlling,
Though without you I would be dead.
Though now I have changed,
In sweet happiness I draw a sweet calm breath,
But I am still mystic and strange,
Secretly still dreaming sweet dreams of death.
