What happened to us?

As I sit in the darkness and listen to the rain, I can see your fear and feel your pain!!
As I sit in the light and listen to the traffic I am blinded by all the noise!!
I thought I could understand things I thought I could see, but now I don’t know anymore I can not succeed!!
I can not understand you or your words of wisdom you make no sense to me now!!
Where did I go wrong in this world of confusion to understand exactly what your going through?
How come you do not talk to me anymore?
How come you do not confide in me? I thought we were friends and friends in deed say what they need.
I have lost you in this world of self-centered people, and people with no knowledge of how we feel.
We were the best of friends what happened to us?
