For The One I Love

When I was just a little girl

I used to make wishes on falling stars

Some of them came true but some were not fulfilled

But as time passed by, everything got complicated

And those wishing stars weren’t that magical at all.

So I was confused. I kept quiet.

I was so calm in my hiding place.

But then unexpectedly there were sparks

But I don’t know where they’re coming from.

Suddenly there came a miracle

And that miracle was you!

I never really believed in miracles

Ever since the magic of my wishing stars faded away.

But then I realized that the miracle wasn’t a wish,

It wasn’t just an ordinary wish,

But a wish that came from my heart.

I just never thought it would come true.

But it did! And there you are.

Not so near yet not so far

Just where I wanted you to be.

I may have never believed in a lot of things in life

But having you is enough for me to know

That there’s always a reason for me to move on.

That there’s always a reason for me to live

And that there’s always a reason for me to love.
