You're Gone

by Jill Turner   Nov 6, 2003

Baby I'm lost,
Without you here by my side.
No matter how hard I try,
My feelings for you I cannot hide.
I wish I didn't feel like this,
I wish it would go away.
I wish you never hurt me,
But yet I wish you would stay.
But instead you're leaving,
And all I can do is cry.
The only thing I asked of you,
Was that you would just try.
Trying was to hard for you,
And I see that now.
And I wish we could've worked things out,
Someway, somehow.
But now you're gone,
You're out of my life.
It's time for me to mend my heart,
You know, the thing you stabbed with a knife.
I'm doing fine,
I'm moving on.
Cause a part of me,
Is glad that you're gone.
