Crying Blue Eyes

Behind these streaming eyes
And beneath the barrier I upheld
I’m dying to be rekindled
I’m screaming to be held

I need to feel anything
A sense of being adored.
For so long now I’ve suffocated
From constantly being ignored.

Somebody say something to me
I’m regretting who I’ve been.
I’m folding beneath the pressure
Of a time way back when

I can’t pretend any more
This smile is starting to hurt.
I need to talk to somebody now
I’m sick of being an introvert.

He’s killing me during the long nights
When he’s never even there

He brings to me despair.

Falling through the past again
