Every drip counts

by tanya   Jul 22, 2005

Blood dripping to the ground,a silent drip, doesn't make much sound.A silent tear, creeps down my face,I'm everything you love to hate.
A flickered flame that lights the room,a candle glowing will go out soon,a broken smile,a blooded knife, too many cuts will cost a life.
Every letter, and every scar,in this mind will get me far, through these years,I've come to be,everything except for me.
Twisted shadows,a river red, trickles slowly from my head,a speeding impact to the mirror, stomach rumbling, getting thinner.
A day inside,is a day in hell,in this room,my thoughts will dwell,wishing i could make them see,I'm suffering slowly,just set me free.
Say goodnight,slip from my feet,lay in bed,to fall asleep,every drip counts,a breathe i take,i close my eyes,and never wake.
