My Only Wish

Let me live
let me grow
there are so many things i want to know
let me talk and please let me walk
it's all up to you
to let my wish come true

hold me close and keep me warm
i want to love and i want to cry
so please don't let me die

these words i wish you could hear
i want to live before i disappear
i can hear you but you can't hear me
if this happens your face I'll never see

i know life isn't fair
but you made me so how could you not care
let me smile
even if it's only for a little while

please let me call you mommy.......
