Love

A little bird once told me that love is forever lasting.
at first i didn't believe him
then i found you

you showed me that a little love and care can last forever and can leave a mark on a persons soul
a good mark, not bad

you showed me
what the meaning of life and
fulfilling my dreams men't
you helped me survive
everything i went through

and you weren't even on earth
you're sitting up in heaven,
watching down on me
caring for me

and even though i cant hear you say i love you anymore,
i can feel that you still do

and if i had a rose for every time you had told me you loved me,
I'd have a big garden full of them,

and they would never die if they resembled love,
because true love never dies
and true love is what we had shared

i know that you're gone now,
but I've learned to live with you not physically being here

I've learned that you're with me in my heart,
and that thats where you'll sit forever until we meet again
