Hit hard like cold, solid steel
As i watch the paramedics carry you away
in my mind those words whisper
as i cry and i sway
i fight back tears
but they keep coming down
he was all i had
my King, my crown
with a tear stained face
fighting covers as i sit
never alone i was
next to me , you lay asleep
not stirring one bit
