Just Friends

We met each other through friends.
Though we did not clique instantly, I know the feeling is there.
We have so much in common!
We both love photography.
We both like to write.
And we both have feelings for someone.
But see, that is where we drift apart.
I have feelings for you.
You have feelings for her.
I told you how I felt, about you, and your girlfriend.
You apologized to me, and told me that you felt really bad.
But, I said it was ok with me if we stayed just friends.
I don't need people to feel sorry for me,
And I don't want people to feel sorry for me.
I need someone who is my friend,
Not someone who is just going to pity me.
I need someone who will be there for me through everything.
When I'm happy, sad, angry, or just upset.
I need someone who will hug me, and tell me that everything is going to be ok.
I need you.
But I know all we will ever be, is.....
