The Real Me

I turned My back on My Heart
I know I shouldn't have done it, but turning My back on My Heart doesn't make Me a bad person

I don't want to be a caricature, I want to be seen as a real person
I get upset
I make mistakes (fell in Love), but I want people to see that I can overcome them
I wouldn't change a thing
Nothing

My Heart may be well apart from Me now
Nothing ever hurt Me like that
