Wrapped In Lace

by Katelyn   Jul 24, 2005

Solitude in Beauty
Wrapped in Lace,
She knows this well
You can see it in her face.

No emotion she lets out,
Just one smirk to mention
that she is irresistible,
It gets the men's attention.

They flock to her like dogs
Each wanting something;
that she doesn't want to give,
Bribing her with diamond things.

This is her life
She has no regrets,
It is a part of herself
that she has well kept.

Maybe she will change,
I hope someone opens her eyes
Break off her chains and walk away,
Please, before the end of time.

Solitude in Beauty
Wrapped in Lace,
This is her home
Her comfort place.
