In My Dreams...

In my dreams:

I can save the world without breaking a sweat

I can be the Prince, instead of the pauper

I can hold the oceans back with my bare hands

I can make you love me...

In my dreams:

I never feel pain, I am free of hurt

I never have to worry about sadness

I never have to say, " I can't do this"

I never find what I'm looking for...

In my dreams:

I am the smiles on the faces of children

I am the sun that bathes the Earth in a golden light

I am the spirit of empathy and kindness

I am God

In my dreams:

I guide the hearts of broken lovers

I guide the souls of the lost

I guide the minds of poets and prophets

I guide everyone into enlightenment

In my dreams:

I find love in things that don't exist

I find comfort in solitude

I find the light in the dark

I find myself...

Then I wake up...
