Reach out

by Hans Fausto   Jul 24, 2005

You try to see, amidst the ridicule
that others do desire
then your passion and strength
gets put out like a fire

you see no one to guide you
in the darkness
you sit in a corner
losing all hope

enigmatic your life
has come to be
and so you try
to find a way out

you stumble and fall
you cry and weep
engulfed in the darkness
with sadness to keep

and so for one last try
and for one last breath
you stretch out your hand
hoping to get

my arms stretched out to you
with a welcoming embrace
a warm mellow kiss
and a smile on your face...
