Me

by Hans Fausto   Jul 24, 2005

Embracing the cold flames
waiting for my soul to die
hiding from what is to blame
i just need a place to lie

I cant stop thinking no more
wasting hours on sleepless nights
i dont want to break the bond
or my life shall see no light

it will hurt me to see me hurt you
so i shall not become one with you
melancholic whispers and mellow voices
start pointing out without a clue

Alls at a stop when it enters my mind
the frozen me, the painful me
never ending visions of what has become of me
the past that shattered me to pieces

right now life's a bliss
just waiting for it to come
the gathering at the cold mountain
with the only one..

I definetly prefer this one than the other one I commented on. It has good imagery, but doesn't overwhelm the poem. It's good. Well done.
