Lost Without You

My heart has vanished
Without a trace
Gone from Me
Like the Sight of your Face

Life seems empty
A world without taste
No sound can move me
Out from this waste

The pain inside
It does slowly gnaw
Eats at my mind
Leaves my heart raw

Yet again I suffer this pain
Make the same mistake
That each time I love
My soul does break

Am I alone in this?
Can it be only me?
Or do others do this too?
And from conscious thought wish to flee?

    hi andrew
    i loved this poem. it really touched me, because i am like this too. i am a very social person and get very attached to people. i am especially like this about drugs because they have wrecked the lives of so many that i love.
    but the bottem line is poetry always helps, so keep writing!
