The proposal

by Shealee   Jul 24, 2005

We walk to the park as it starts to rain.
You stop me in mid-step.
You have me turn around in close my eyes.
You say it's OK to look now, so i do.
And there you are on one knee, ring in hands,
while ran is pouring down on your face looking up at me.
You ask, "Will you marry me?" as tears flow to my eyes.
I manage to squeak out a YES
Because i love you so dearly
And i know you love me too.
