Storm

A storm is brewing
Inside of my heart
I can feel it growing
Tearing me apart

The clouds first appear
Covering up all happiness
Stripping my heart of light
Leaving me with darkness

Drops of rain fall
Continuous like my tears
The thunder gets louder and louder
Awakening all of my fears

Then comes the lightning
The most daunting of all
Every strike hits my heart hard
Each blow makes me fall

Yet, no matter how big the storm is
It will clear up like any other one
But all the damages it has caused
Can never ever be undone
