Under my Make-up

by Iyla   Jul 25, 2005

Under my make-up
lies a pale young face
a hurt depressed girl
wanting to leave this place

everyday she walks out of the house
all kinds of strangers stare
people always making fun of her
hurting her feelings, but they don't care

past my eyeliner, past my shadow
lies a girl who wants to die
because the things people say in this cruel world
there's no way she can survive

under my make-up
is a girl who only thinks of suicide
she thinks it would be better
if she didn't live this life

people stare at her scars
" another depressed goth" is the only thing they said
people think it's funny, but it's no joke
i wonder if they would be surprised if i turned up dead

please be careful of what you say
you might want to stop
because you never know
there may be a suicidal girl under her make-up

* true.. yes... please you guys it really hurts when you say stuff like that*
