Left Wondering

As I stare blankly at this world
Without both taste and sound
I wonder what went wrong
And why I am around?

Life seems purposeless and empty
Without you in my world
I wonder why you chose them, not me
My mind has come unfurled

I care for you so much
Yet it matters not at all
My heart has shattered, broke apart
And into oblivion I fall
