I'm not sorry about being me!

I know you are gonna be mad
when you find out what I did
but I’m not going to say sorry
sorry is just something I can not give

last night I tried to tell you
you just didn’t care
so I took out my knife
because I know its always there

I made a few cuts
everyone with tears
because I thought of losing you
and that’s one of my biggest fears

I look at my wrist
and I know you will cry
because you’ll know its to deep
and that I tried to die

many times we’ve talked about death
and what all I have tried
from alcohol to drugs
until I found my knife

I’ve never promised you I’d quit
even though many times I’ve tried
until that lonely feeling comes back
and I’m left wishing I had died

I know you’ll scream and yell
and probably ask me why
all I can say though
is that I wish you wouldn’t cry

I promise its not your fault
its just something I had to do
You’re my best friend forever
Its not my time to leave you

I wrote this to one of my best friends.. to let her know what i did.. i hope if she reads this she doesnt get mad!! And that she remembers i love her no matter what i do!! please rate and comment
