My baby's a thug

by SarahBeth   Nov 7, 2003

I try over and over to tell him
But he doesn't listen to me
He says he's a thug for life
He's down for his streets
I wish he could see how it bothers me
Worryin' he'll get caught up
He tells me it's okay
It's all part of being a thug
I knew the deal when I fell for him
And I kinda think that's why
But when I fell in love
That all changed in my mind
I'm so afraid he'll end up in jail
Or even worse in a morge
My baby doesn't worry though
He's thug to the core
My baby packs his heat
He wears his rag with pride
He wouldn't hesitate to bust
For his boys, he's down to ride
I sit awak at night
Hoping he makes it home
I hate lying there at night
I hate being all alone
But it's all worth the expense
When he comes home late at night
He's loves me like no one can
He thugs me just right
