Red-coated Metal

by Rhi   Jul 25, 2005

A young girl lying on a bed
Wishing she were dead

Hot tears streaming down her face
How she wished she could leave this place

Cold metal pressed into her skin
She wished she had never lived

A sharp pain and a blinding light
Makes the night a dreadful sight

The blood pours out
Sticky and wet
Oh why couldn't she just forget?

Red-coated metal falls to the ground
Never again to come around
