Ender

Releasing myself blindly to the unknown
Dips and dives and taller than the tallest high-rise
Epic rollercoaster of emotions that
Leave the fabric of the soul in awe and
Stir the most potent desires to simply
Unravel itself into
You

Who
Unraveled it willingly
And tore it at the seams and
Left me milling over lost ambition and
Breaking off petals in the Shakespearian
Melodramatic, old, clichéd
Storyline of lost
Love

With
Those flat-lined eyes
That used to bespeak dreams so deep
You could lose your way in them for days
As I spun romantic tales of two that had to defy
The world and conquer the
Impossible to finally hold
One another until they
Died of sheer
Ecstasy

Now
I scream to
The omnipresent moon
That flaunts its bright liveliness
In the face of the intricate dreamer that
Bet his life on off-chance fantasies
And make death wishes
On shooting
Stars
