My Light

If i could describe
how i feel about you
just to get it right
would take a life or two

i cant believe
my fealings are true
because i only
just met you

you make me smile
whenever your around
its like the cruel world
has just fallen down

you are the best friend
ill ever have
i know its true
and i smile for that

i could never repay you
for what youve done
you took away the dark
and brought out the sun

so now you asked me
to write this poem for you
so i am doing it
and all this is true

no matter what
i do or say
i cant compare to you
in any way

you are my light
on my darkest day
ill never forget you
believe what i say

you are the friend
i always drempt about
you are my light
that wont go out
