Love...
What is love?
Could love be a feeling or an emotion?
Maybe love could be an intense affection or an attraction.
Whatever love may be or could be, is something that I just can't perceive.
I think the word love plays tricks on our emotions, spirit, mind, soul, and hearts.
You see that’s the very thing I didn’t understand.
If love plays tricks, then why do we always find people saying I love you to others?
If love plays tricks, then why do we always hear of people getting married because of love?
When you then find out that that very in loved married couple is now getting a divorce because they had fallen out of love.
To me love is a word that people use to often, or sometimes don't use often enough.
To me love is a word that is used by people who don't know what the true definition of love is.
Some people play with the world love to get sex.
Some people play with sex to get love.
Some people use the word love to get back what they so think is love.
I think people’s definition of love is so screwed up that you end up finding so many peoples hearts being broken.
So if most people don't know the true meaning of love then why do we always pour our emotions, spirit, mind, soul, and hearts into this unknown word of love?
I think I have the answer...
Because deep down everyone is craving love, so why not acknowledge the ultimate love that will ever fade or go away?
The love of Jesus Christ is the ultimate love and the answer to this poem.
