Endless Sleep

by Alayna   Jul 26, 2005

Paint my pale white skin a darker shade of red
Let the blood stain my clothes as it pours before I'm dead
The night shall swallow me like a thousands leagues of sea
And yet I know that no one will rescue me
It pierces like a thousand knives into my vein
But that's exactly what has caused this wonderful pain
Hold me in your arms but do not weep
As I fade into an endless sleep.
