This is for my grandma that died not too long ago, i read this at her funeral and it took a lot of guts i would really appreiciate it if you would leave your comments... thanks

I will always remember

We shared some times,
Some good and some bad,
But you’re gone forever,
And I can’t bring you back.

All of the memories,
That you and I share,
Will never be lost,
They will forever be there.

But I guess that it’s better,
You’re no longer in pain,
And I’ve learned with every loss,
There is something to gain.

But I don’t know what that is,
I can’t find the good,
But if you were still here,
I bet that you could.

If you were still here,
I bet that you’d say,
Not to worry,
And that I’ll be okay.

Grandma I love you,
Why did you have to go?
I hope you can hear me,
Because I want you to know,

That I will always love you,
And though were apart,
You will never leave me,
You’ll be here in my heart.

I will always remember,
I will never forget,
Everything we did together,
I will remember it.

So grandma if you’re up there,
Looking down on me,
As a beautiful angel,
Don’t forget you’ll always be,

In my heart, in my thoughts,
Always on my mind,
And a beautiful angel,
Up in the sky.
