Blood Lust

by Logan   Jul 26, 2005

Can you hear it whispering
in the darkness of the night?
Can you hear it's agonized scream
when enveloped in the light

Do you see the longing
when I gaze upon a knife
Did you realize how weak I was
when I allowed it to consume my life

Have you watched crimson tears
flow angelically down your arm
faced no other means of escape
than the ever popular self harm

always testing your foundation
before allowing another step
expecting your world to cave in
savoring what you thinks your last breath

But still you manage to stand
and gaze wearily around
whispers constantly remind you
how much safer you were on the ground.

*Eh, I don't think its that good...critiques encouraged

You should be able to figure it out...

"I hate the way you talk to me,
And the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car.
I hate it when you stare...."
