Woah! Congradulations ... what an ending. Normally to make a statement it takes, me, about two stanzas to climax to. You did it in two sentances.

What a piece ... I love this playful attitude of your lately. Its so serene yet so wonderfully outspoken. It isnt pessimistic either, now that I think of it ... it appears to be a 'matter of fact' ideology. Wonderful!

:D AWESOME! I like that idea! Opposing to the familiar "Nice guys finish last", this is very brilliant! And i'd also like to think of it as the good guy's revenge because all that good he's done will be repayed after death...i love that idea!

Thanks for the comment. I'm enjoying these different forms of poetry very much and i hope that my skills get better.

    Take care!

  • In life we worry what people think
In death we worry about our deeds
And if those thoughts about them
Carry on to where afterlife leads...Every Stanza Was Enriching To Read..That One Was My Favorite..Is Was Simply Brilliant And Brilliantly Beautiful...You Said Some Things I Never Really Think About But Its So True 5/5 xoxo-Nikki-xoxo

A perfect piece portraying the faults and cruelties of our society.
"Everyday is a fight to keep face
While stabbing someone in the back"

"Even though the very next day
    That person may lie dead
    You'll shed your publicised tears
    And continue buttering your bread"

I especially appreciated these lines, displaying the human nature and will to demolish others in order to secure one's own welfare. Good write
