Goodbye is something someone says
When a once true love is lost
Goodbye is also something used
When your life is but the cost
Goodbyes are often the hardest things
To say to someone you love
Whether its just to say see you tomorrow
Or let a loved ones soul fly above
Goodbyes could mean many things
As in goodbye forever and more
Or the goodbye you say when you are very upset
Yet the next day, your hoping to hear the knock at the door
Goodbyes are often hardest
When you must let a loved one go
For all you want is another day
You feel like there’s more to know
Or the goodbye in which can ruin your life
In which case you give up
Or the goodbye you say with the biggest force
In which you’ve had enough
Or the goodbye you say when all you want
Is for that one special person to be
Happier than a kid on christmas day
That’s what I lived to see
Goodbyes can hurt you
At most times More than not
But goodbyes are the start of another adventure
Yet the memorys are never forgot.
Goodbyes are important…but most important of all
Don’t forget that they could kill you
For goodbyes are the things you say because
Your anger takes over the truth
